Livin on a Prayer
Mayor of Eastleigh to Keep the Faith
27th January sees the Mayor of Eastleigh’s Charity Appeal present another musical offering at The Point Theatre. Following the huge success of previous shows including Bee Gees Fever, T-Rextasy and Neil Diamond come a tribute to one of the biggest rock bands in the world in the shape of Bon Jovie. Bon Jovie will be taking the roof off the Point Theatre with such hits as “Wanted dead or alive”, “ You give love a bad name”, “ Have a nice day “ and “ Livin’ on a prayer”.
The band is fronted by former ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ contestant and regularly play all over the world including Mediterranean and the Middle East.
Organiser Kim Garner said “ We are hoping to wake 2007 up with Bon Jovie, they offer an astonishingly accurate tribute to Bon Jovi who played in St Mary’s stadium last summer. We are very fortunate to have secured Bon Jovie as they are playing the show for us at the Point and then leaving to catch a plane straight away as they have a show in overseas the next day. ‘ The Charities that will benefit from this fundraising event are AAIR the Asthma and Allergy research charity, The QE11 Centre and Eastleigh Young Carers who are hugely deserving of all the funds raised by the appeal.
Tickets for the event are available via the Point Box office or from the website priced at £11 and £9 concessions
